Information Sought:
The appellant has sought the following information:
1. Provide the particulars of Aadhar Centres working in Berhampur Telecom District as follows. If Aadhar centre at any place is closed or diverted to any other place, the letter as per which the same was made be provided.

Grounds for filing Second Appeal:
The CPIO did not provide the desired information.
Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
The appellant was not present to plead his case. However, in his second appeal had stated that he is not satisfied with the reply of the CPIO as the CPIO did not provide the Aadhaar enrolment in May 2021, SIM swap by rural distributors in May 2021 and Aadhaar agreement with franchise. He also submitted that penalty may be imposed on the CPIO.
The CPIO submitted that an appropriate reply was given to the appellant on 23.07.2021.
Observations:
From a perusal of the relevant case records, it is noted that on point no. 1, a categorical reply was given to the appellant whereby he was informed that all the CSCs of Berhampur TD have been outsourced except Badiyanathpur CSC which is now closed. It was also informed that the Aadhaar updation work is being done at CSC, Telephone Bhawan, Berhampur (GM) by the contractor. Their office is not having the Enrolment/updation data of Aadhaar Kendra as it is being done by the contractor.2
For point no. 2 the CPIO had stated that the information has been provided on 29.04.2021. It was also stated that the information does not relate to public and it is related to internal business of BSNL.
With regard to point no. 3, exemption u/s 8(1)(d) was claimed. The Commission is unable to find any flaw in the reply of the CPIO, hence, no relief can be given, moreso, when the appellant himself was not present to plead his case.
Decision:
In view of the above, no action lies.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
