O R D E R

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2015 and reminder dated 16.08.2016, regarding the regularisation of the petitioner's service.

3.The petitioner would state that after completing School Education, he joined the Diploma Course in Textile Technology and completed the same in the year April, 1998 and registered his qualifications with the Employment Office and was sponsored by the Employment Office for appointment to the post of Knitting and Sewing Machine Operator Faculty on Contract basis. The fourth respondent conducted the interview on 27.08.2009 and the petitioner was appointed by the third respondent on full time contract faculty on 31.08.2009 and his monthly salary was fixed at Rs.5,000/- per month.

4.The petitioner would further state that the appointment order was issued for a period of eleven months and thereafter, every year, fresh appointment orders were issued by the third respondent and the petitioner is continuously serving with the respondent for more than six years. Since, the salary is very meagre, he made representation dated 10.12.2015 to the respondents 1 and 2 praying to absorb him on permanent basis. Since there was no reply, he made reminder dated 16.08.2016 to the respondents 1 to 3 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

5.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents.

6.Considering the submissions made on either side and without going into the merits of the same, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2015 and the reminder dated 16.08.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
