Section 28(1) in The M.P. Janpad Panchayat and Zila Panchayat Standing Committees (Election of Members, Powers and Functions and Term of Members and Procedure for the Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994
(1)No member of a Standing Committee shall vote on or take part in the discussion of any item coming up for consideration in the meeting, if the item is one in which he has any direct or indirect pecuniary interest.
