160. Gaon Sabha or the Gaon Panchayat to carry out orders and directions of the Government.
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, the Chief Commissioner may issue such orders and directions to the Gaon Sabha or the Gaon Panchayat as may appear to be necessary for this Act.(2)It shall be the duty of the Gaon Sabha or the Gaon Panchayat and its office bearers to forthwith carry out such orders and comply with such directions.
