(1)The State Government may, by notification, appoint to each district as many Assistant Commissioners as it may deem expedient; all such Assistant Commissioners and all other officers employed in the Revenue Administration of the district shall be subordinate to the [Regional Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner] [Substituted by Act 17 of 2007 w.e.f. 5.1.2007.].
