Section 154 in The Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961
154. Suspension and remission of local cess.
- The State Government may, on the application of the Zilla Parishad to which the cess is payable, suspend or remit the collection of cess or any portion thereof in any year in any area, subject to the jurisdiction of such Zilla Parishad.
