The petitioner complains of police inaction. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, despite a complaint being lodged and an order passed by the Jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the police have not taken steps.
The State and the private respondents are represented. Learned advocate for the State on the basis of written instruction submits that, by virtue of an order passed on the basis of a petition under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Cossipore P.S. Case No. 241 of 2017 dated November 16, 2017 under Sections 323/325/406/420/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code was initiated. The investigation is in progress. Notice under Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was served on the petitioner to collect relevant 2 documents.
In view of the State having taken steps as noted above, no further interference is called for.
W.P. 28899(W) of 2017 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
