Section 17(1) in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University Act, 1994
(1)There shall be constituted an Academic Planning Board of the University which shall be the principal academic and planning body of the University. The Board shall be responsible for the maintenance of standards of learning, education, instruction evaluation and examination within the University and shall also be responsible for the monitoring of the developments of the University and shall exercise such powers and perform such other duties and functions as may be conferred or imposed upon it by the Statutes.
