(5)Firemen.] [Substituted by U.P. Act No. 1 of 1953.][5. Superintendence, powers and functions. - (1) The superintendence and control of the U.P. Fire Service shall vest in the Inspector General of Police, and subject to the general control of the Inspector General of Police, in the District Superintendent of Police within the area of his jurisdiction.
