Section 4(1) in Telangana Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923
(1)The [State Government] [The words <i>'State Government'</i> were substituted throughout the Act by the Adaptation of Laws Orders, 1937 and 1950.] may by notification appoint any person either by name or by virtue of his office to be a survey officer for all or any of the purposes of this Act.
