(1)With effect from the date of coming into force of this Act, -(a)The Punjab Municipal Act, 1911 (Punjab Act 3 of 1911);(b)The Punjab Municipal (Executive Officer) Act, 1931 (Punjab Act 2 of 1931); and(c)The Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 (Punjab Act 42 of 1976) shall stand repealed.
