Section 3 in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
3. Incorporation of the University.
(1)With effect from the appointed day, there shall be established a University by the name of the Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya.(2)The University shall be a body corporate, shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall sue and be sued by the name of the Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya.(3)The principal seat of the University shall be located at Pundibari under Cooch Behar Block-II in the district of Cooch Behar.
