Section 10(3) in Bihar Special Survey and Settlement Rules, 2012
(3)Claims/objections shall be disposed off in a summary manner by the Kanoongo/ Circle Inspector/ Assistant Consolidation Officer by passing a reasoned order, within a maximum period of 30 working days of filing of such claims/objections.Provided that if the claims/objections filed pertain to Government/Public Land, the same shall be heard and disposed off by an officer not below the rank of Assistant Settlement Officer /Circle Officer/Consolidation Officer.
