Section 3(j) in Tamil Nadu Marine Fishing Regulation Act, 1983
(j)[ "registered fishing vessel" means a fishing vessel registered under section 435-C of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 (Central Act 44 of 1958) or under this Act; [Substituted by Act No. 18 of 2017.](ja)"sea ranching" means stocking of cultured fish juveniles in marine and estuarine environments for the purpose of stock enhancement;(jb)"sea safety" means measures and means of life saving, fire fighting appliances and materials in sea at the time of distress;]
