3. CRM No. M-15033 of 2016, has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of cross case registered vide Rapat No.30, dated 29.09.2015, under Sections 324, 506, 148, 149 IPC in FIR No. 65, dated 26.09.2015 (Annexure P-2) under Sections 324, 325, 323, 341, 506, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Hajipur, District Hoshiarpur and all the subsequent proceedings thereon, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-3).
4. Reports of learned trial Court have been received, in which, it has been categorically observed that the matter has been compromised between the parties with the intervention of the respectables and the compromise is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence in respect of aforesaid FIR. All the grievances have been settled amicably between the parties without any coercion or undue influence. Even otherwise, matter involved is personal in nature, which stood amicably settled.
5. So, in view of above circumstances, I am of the considered opinion that continuation of criminal proceedings between the parties would be an abuse of the process of law and the present compromise is for their benefit and will bring peace and harmony between them.
