Section 27(3) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(3)The Registrar shall be responsible for the due custody of the records and the common seal of the University. He shall, by virtue of his being the ex officio member-secretary to the Council, place before the Council all such information as may be necessary for the transaction of business. He shall keep a permanent record of all courses, curricula and other information as may be deemed necessary.
