Section 84(7) in The Juvenile Justice (Care And Protection Of Children) Rules, 2007
(7)The Special Juvenile Police Units shall seek assistance from the voluntary organisations, panchayats and gramsabhas or Resident Welfare Associations in identi-fying juveniles in conflict with law as well as reporting cases of violence against children, child neglect and child abuse.
