- In the case of a Government servant who retires from service, while on deputation to the Central Government or other State Government or while on foreign service, action to sanction pension and gratuity in accordance with the provisions of this chapter shall be taken by the Audit Officer or the Head of Office as the case may be, of the authority which sanctioned the deputation of the Government servant to the Central or other State Government or to foreign service.] [Rule 64(4) added - G.O.Ms.No.814, Finance (Pension) Department, dated 30-09-1994 with effect from 27th December 1991.]
