Section 25 in Gauhati Municipal Corporation Act, 1971
25. Delegation of powers to Commissioner by Standing Committee.
- In any case in which it is provided by this Act or any other law that the Commissioner may take action subject to the approval, sanction, consent or concurrence of a Standing Committee, the Committee may, by resolution in writing, authorise him to take action in anticipation of its approval, sanction, consent or concurrence subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in such resolution.
