266. Quorum.
- [No business shall be transacted at any meeting unless at least 6 members are present, of whom one shall be from among those nominated under clauses (v) and (vi) of sub-rule (1) of Rule 256 :Provided that if at any meeting less than 6 members are present the Chairperson may adjourn the meeting to another date informing members present and giving notice to the other members that he proposes to dispose of the business at the adjourned meeting whether there is a prescribed quorum or not, and it shall thereupon be lawful for him to dispose of the business at the adjourned meeting irrespective of the member of members attending.] [Substituted by Notification No. 989/XXXVI-2-2017, dated 23.8.2017, (w.e.f. 4.2.2009).]
