- Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing rules, the sanctioning authority may, on the application of a prisoner or otherwise, by an order in writing extend the period of furlough for such further period, subject to the limitations in Rule 310, as may be specified in such order on the same conditions on which the prisoner was originally granted furlough or on such other conditions as the sanctioning authority may determine.
