Section 126(2) in The Orissa Motor Vehicles Rules, 1993
(2)The rear springs shall be attached to or bear upon the back axle casing as near as possible to the road wheels and the distance between the springs from outside to outside shall not be less than 50 per cent of the overall width of the vehicle.
