Section 205(1) in The Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(1)The State Government may at any time cause an inquiry to be made by any of its officer into the affairs of a Panchayat in regard to any matter concerning it or in regard to any matter with respect to which sanction, approval, consent or order of the State Government is required by or under this Act.
