Section 49 in The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions of Tariff) Regulations, 2005

49. Norms for operation.

- 49.1 Target availability for full recovery of annual transmission charges
(a) AC system :- 98 per cent
(b) HVDC bi-pole links and HVDC back-to-back stations :- 95 per cent
Note 1 : Recovery of annual transmission charges below the level of target availability shall be on pro rata basis. At zero availability, no transmission charges shall be payable.Note 2 : - The target availability shall be calculated in accordance with procedure provided in the Annexure-II to these Regulations.
