Section 11(i) in University of Udaipur Teachers (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1976
(i)A teacher appointed to a post after the commencement of these rules shall remain on probation on such post for a period of one year provided that the appointing authority may extend, in any individual case, the period of probation by six months at a time not exceeding one year in all. The intention of extending the terms of probation shall be intimated by the appointing authority to the teacher concerned in writing before one month of the date of expiry of the probation period.
