10. Powers and functions of Deputy Commissioner.
- Every Deputy Commissioner shall, within the division in his charge exercise the powers conferred on and perform the functions entrusted to a Deputy Commissioner as such by or under this Act, in respect of such institutions or endowments as are included in the list published under clause (b) of Section 6 :Provided that where a specific endowment is situated in two or more divisions, the Commissioner shall decide as to which of the Deputy Commissioners shall have the jurisdiction to exercise the powers, or perform the functions in respect of such endowment.
