21. Date of operation of Plan and Zoning Regulations.
(1)Immediately after the plan and zoning Regulations have been approved by the State Government, the Authority shall publish in such manner as may be prescribed by regulations, a notice stating that a plan has been approved and naming a place where a copy of the plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours and upon the date of the first publication of the aforesaid notice, the plan shall come into operation.(2)After the coming into operation of the Master Plan and zoning Regulation, it shall be the duty of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation or any other local authority, within whose jurisdiction such area or zone is situated to enforce such regulatory measures in suppression of the rules and regulations, if any, applicable to such area or zone.
