Section 4(2) in The Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets (Election Petition) Rules, 1981
(2)When the period prescribed for the presentation of election petition expires on a day which is observed as holiday in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, the petition shall be considered as having been presented in due time if it is presented on the next succeeding day which is not a holiday.
