(4)The [Government] [The words 'Provincial Government', were substituted for the words 'Governor in Council' by the Adaptation Order of 1937 and the word 'Provincial' was omitted by the Adaptation (Amendment) Order of 1950.] may, after considering the report of the District Forest Officer, by notification in the [Official Gazette] [Substituted for the words 'Fort St. George Gazette' by the Adaptation Order of 1937.] redefine the limits of the reserved forest as proposed by the notification under sub-section (1), with such modifications as they think fit or without any modifications.
