Section 12(v) in The U.P. Electricity Supply (Consumers) Regulations, 1984
(v)All motors shall be provided with suitable control gear, to the satisfaction of the. supplier, so as to prevent the maximum current demand from the consumer's installation exceeding the limits given in the following table at any time under all possible conditions :
