977. Monthly and quarterly cheek of clothing stock.
- The stock of clothing shall be checked monthly with the register of receipt and issue of clothing, the committee report book and the defect lists and issue forms by the Armed Inspector who shall certify to the correctness of the stock and accounts (vide regulation 896). In districts where the Armed Inspector is not literate in English, this check shall be exercised by the Assistant or Deputy Superintendent. Once a quarter the Superintendent or Additional Superintendent shall check the actual stock with the various registers and certify to their correctness below the last entry in the register of receipt and issue of clothing.
