(1)Notice by Member : An approved probationer other than the staff in Group 'D' shall not leave or discontinue service on his own accord without first giving three calendar months notice or by paying an amount equivalent to his salary of three months in lieu of the notice. The appointing authority shall have the .right to accept or refuse the request on valid grounds.
