Section 30(2)(c) in Uttar Pradesh Ground Water (Management and Regulation) Act, 2019

(c)every user of ground water in both rural and urban areas shall be encouraged to extract and use ground water in an economical and efficient way, avoid waste of water, use give priority to recycled water, adopting of rain water harvesting and recharging methods.
