Section 114 in The Building And Other Construction Workers '(Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Central Rules, 1998
114. Storage of material or article.
- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that-(a)all materials or articles are not stored or kept on platform, floor or stairways of a building being demolished:Provided that this clause shall not apply to the floor of a building when such floor is of such strength as to support safely the load to be superimposed by storing such materials or articles;(b)an access to any stairway or passageway is not affected or blocked by storing any material or article;(c)suitable barricades are provided so as to prevent materials or articles from sliding or rebounding into any space used by the building workers.
