Section 24 in The Gujarat Professional Civil Engineers Act, 2006
24. Penalty for falsely claiming to be registered.
(a)If any person whose name is not for the time being entered in the register, falsely represents that it is so entered, or uses in connection with his name or title any words or letters reasonably calculated to suggest that his name is so entered, or(b)if any person being registered as a professional civil engineer but not having a certificate of practice represents that he is in practice or practices as a professional civil engineer;he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees.
