Section 35(1) in Karnataka Ayurvedic and Unani Practitioners' Registration and Medical Practitioners' Miscellaneous Provisions Rules, 1964

(1)The Registrar shall not be entitled to any pension but shall after his confirmation in the post subscribe to the Contributory Provident Fund, with effect from the date of such confirmation in the service of the Board. The rate of subscription shall be 8 1/2 per cent of the monthly pay exclusive of allowances and the amount so calculated shall be deducted from monthly salary bill of the Registrar. The Registrar shall be required to continue his subscription while absent on leave, other than extraordinary leave with out salary calculated on full pay at the rate drawn prior to proceeding on leave.
