Section 13(1) in The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bangalore Regulations, 2013
(1)The chairperson shall -(i)preside over the Governing Body meetings and introduce the agenda items properly;(ii)make sure that the affairs of Governing Body are conducted in accordance with law;(iii)ensure that the decisions of Governing Body are implemented;(iv)carry out the duties delegated by the Governing Body;(v)make sure the availability of adequate financial resources for the Institution; and(vi)report any action taken in emergent cases on behalf of Governing Body in its next meeting for approval.
