25. Term of office of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
(1)The term of office of the Senior Deputy Mayor and the Deputy Mayor shall be two and a half years.(2)The Senior Deputy Mayor or the Deputy Mayor shall, if otherwise qualified, be eligible for re-election also.(3)The Senior Deputy Mayor or the Deputy Mayor, as the case may be, shall vacate his office if he ceases to be a Councillor.
