.-Before proceeding belowground the leader shall test or witness the testing of self-contained breathing apparatus of the team for leakage. No such apparatus shall be used unless it is found safe. He shall check the equipment of his party, and immediately before entering irrespirable atmosphere shall make sure that all breathing apparatus are working properly.
