- Regular contingencies are those which are incurred by disbursing officers as the occasion for them arises, in accordance with fixed scales, without the sanction of a superior authority.Note. - The various items of regular contingencies and the rules regulating them will be found in paragraph 430 of the Bengal Audit Manual.
