r Learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record photocopy of communication received from Dr. Ravi Sharma, Department of Psychiatry, IGMC, Shimla, wherein, it has been opined that patient Saran Patt is suffering from Depressive Disorder with Borderline Intelligence to Mild Intellectual Disability. For the purpose of present proceedings opinion of expert is required with respect to ability of the patient Saran Patt to understand the legal proceedings in criminal case i.e. present case pending adjudication in this Court and also probable age since when he is suffering from the disability.
Therefore, Dr. Ravi Sharma through Senior Medical Superintendent, IGMC, Shimla is directed to render his opinion by the next date of hearing on the aforesaid issue and also to the effect that disability, if any, of Saran Patt is by birth or otherwise and if otherwise then since when.

instructions submitted that for want of court order, concerned Doctors are not able to decide about continuation or discontinuation indoor treatment of Saran Patt, and therefore, he has prayed for passing appropriate orders in this regard.
This Court vide order dated 30.09.2022 has already given liberty to the concerned doctors to take decision in this regard independently depending upon the requirement of treatment of Saran Patt.
