CM-22838-CII-2019 The present application has been filed for placing on record the compromise effected between the parties. For the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and compromise is taken on record as Annexure P-9.

Main Case Learned counsel for respondent No.1 does not dispute that the matter has been compromised between the parties in terms of the compromise dated 22.03.2019 (Annexure P-9). It is further stated that he has no objection, if the present revision petition is disposed of in the light of said compromise with a further undertaking on behalf of respondent No.1 that the company shall withdraw the petition filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, which is pending before the District Judge, Ludhiana.

Dismissed as withdrawn.

However, it is clarified that in case respondent No.1 does not withdraw the petition under Section 9 as stated before this Court, the petitioner will be at liberty to revive the contempt petition.
