श्री देवेन्द्र प्रसाद यादव (झंझारपुर) : अध्यक्ष महोदय, कल मेरे दल के कतिपय माननीय सदस्यों द्वारा जो कुछ भी आसन के प्रति व्यवहार हुआ, उनकी आसन के प्रति किसी प्रकार की अवमानना या अपमान की नीयत नहीं थी बल्कि बिहार में घटित खास घटना के प्रति आक्रोश था। हम लोग ऐसा महसूस कर रहे हैं कि कही न कहीं आप माननीय सदस्यों के कल के व्यवहार से आहत हुए हैं, इसलिए मैं अपनी पार्टी के सभी माननीय सदस्यों की ओर से दुख और खेद व्यक्त करता हूं तथा क्षमा चाहता हूं। आसन सर्वोपरि है। आप सभी माननीय सदस्यों के अधिकारों के संरक्षक भी हैं। हम आपके और आसन के प्रति पूरा सम्मान रखते हैं और भविष्य में भी सम्मान करते रहेंगे।
MR. SPEAKER: It is extremely gracious of you Shri Devendra Prasad Yadav. See, as a person, I am not so much concerned. This House, the Lok Sabha, is a great House. We all belong to it with great pride and responsibility. Therefore, please keep the respect and dignity of this House. I appeal to all of you. The way you have responded today, I am greatly touched by it. I am sure we all shall be able to work together for the glory of this Institution and the glory of our Republic.
I am thankful to each and every Member of this House. I have the highest respect for all of you. Please take it from me. Therefore, we can work together for this great country, for the people who have sent us here with great expectations and hope[r14] .
