Section 332 in Bihar Education Code, 1961

332. Number of pupils in a High School.

- The number of pupils should not exceed 50 in any section of a class or 40 in any section of the upper primary classes. These limits may be relaxed to the extent that not more than two pupils above the prescribed maximum may he admitted in any one class of a school where such pupils are sons or legal wards of Government servants transferred in the course of a school session to the place at which the school is situated.(G. O. no. 1929-E., dated the 5th April 1928; and G. O. no. 524-E.R., dated the 26th August 1932.)Note. - The same limits (50 in class VI or any higher class and 40 in class V or any lower class) should be observed in middle and primary schools.
