Prayer in the present petition was for seeking issuance of directions to shift the Fish Market popularly known as Machli Market of Faridabad to some other suitable place out of City (Abadi area) on account of the foul smell emanating due to scattering of waste/raw fish in the area. A further prayer has also been made for seeking directions to the respondent to take final decision on the representation dated 22.08.2020 submitted by the petitioners.

Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the present case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad to take a decision on the pending representation dated 22.08.2020 within a period of 04 months and after granting opportunity of hearing to the respective parties.
