Section 2(i) in The Rajasthan Subordinate Accounts Service Rules, 1963
(i)"Member of the Service" means a person appointed in a substantive capacity to a post of the Service under the provisions of these Rules or the rules or orders superseded by these Rules, and includes a person placed on probation;
