49. Scheme of Irrigable lands under command and betterment charges on construction or improvement, etc. of a canal.
- When the construction of a new canal or the improvement or extension of an existing canal is undertaken, the State Government shall direct an officer empowered in this behalf to prepare a scheme showing the lands under the irrigable command of the canal and the betterment charges leviable on such lands.
