                                                   - Versus -

State of Manipur & 3 Ors.
                                                                      .... Respondent/s

BEFORE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH 22.09.2021 When the matter is taken up today, none appeared for the petitioner, however, Mr. H. Samarjit, learned GA appeared for the respondents.

On perusal of the proceedings of the records, it is found that the counsel for the petitioner was absent on many occasions. The order challenged in this writ petition is dated 29.04.2016 extending the period of suspension of the petitioner for a period of 6(six) months. As that period of 6(six) months has already lapses in 2016 itself, the present writ petition has virtually become infructuous. That may be the reason why the parties are no longer interested in the present writ petition.

As the counsel for the petitioner is absent in many occasions, this Court has no option but to dismiss the present writ petition for non- prosecution, accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed for non- prosecution.
