Section 2(1)(m) in Tamil Nadu Electricity Supply Undertakings (Acquisition) Act, 1954

(m)"vesting date" means, in relation to an undertaking, the date fixed under section 4, sub-section (1) as the date on which the undertaking shall vest in the Government or in the case of an undertaking taken over, the date on which it was taken over;
