By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks new electrical connection (domestic). An objection has been filed by the private respondent on 4th June, 2014. The only reason for raising an objection is that the Distribution Company is seeking to draw supply line over the agricultural land of the private respondent. An alternative route exists and supply can be drawn over such alternative route. In view of the objection dated 4th June, 2014, such objection ought to have been disposed of by the respondent no. 2. In any event, as an alternative route exists, let such alternative route be identified by the private respondent to the respondent no. 2 and the petitioner and supply be drawn over such alternative route. In the event, the alternative route is not acceptable to the petitioner, the written objection filed by the private respondent be disposed of by the respondent no. 2 within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to all parties and by passing a reasoned order. Order to be passed be communicated to the parties within four weeks therefrom.
In view of the aforesaid, this application is disposed of. Objection dated 4th June, 2014 be kept on record.
As no affidavit-in-opposition has been filed, the allegation contained in the writ petition is not admitted.
Certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis.
